Hi.  It's going to be 41 for two days this week.  I said I was available for those days, but given I have no airconditioning and am trying not to go past a quota of one case of heat exhaustion per week, I would appreciate if you find other typists first or send me work that isn't due until Monday so that I do not have to spend these two days in the hottest room of the house in front of a hot computer.

Yeah.  So anyway, my feet are back to normal and so is my sleeping pattern, as I just spent a week fucking my bodyclock over to push it forward a good 18 hours.  That being said, it also means I won't have the energy to be typing at 3am instead of the middle of the day.  It's shit like this which is why my next Misconduct chapter has barely been started.

Well, that was kind of fun yesterday.  Went from swollen feet to chills and dizziness and a desire to fall down the stairs.  Y halo thar, heat exhaustion >_>  In spring.  This does not bode well. 

Anyway.  Kinda well versed in dealing with it, so drank the rest of the water in the house and poured buckets over my head and went and sat in the bath for a bit.  And had just curled up on the couch in front of the air cooler (fffail) with swollen feet hitched up and ...then UG walked in the door.

WA:  Hi!  Hay guess what my feet are swollen 8D  /waves them
UG:  .../FLAIL

...I'm guessing they really were balloons.  Anyway, I kinda dozed off at that point and woke back up to him lugging like ...every air cooler in the house into the living room to POINT AT THE COUCH.  Fff.  That man is a sweetheart, I tell you.  In between vague recollections of being informed there was a bunch more water in the fridge and my complaining about it being 41 on Tuesday and Wednesday (really, weather?  Really?) I fell asleep entirely and have just woken up.

At midnight.  BAH.

Okay.  My feet are still swollen, though only very slightly now, and the cool change is here, such as it is.  28 tomorrow.  Today.  Er.  So yeah, game on while we can manage it.  

However, maybe I need to be looking at that highly expensive AC option after all, because the house is clearly retaining far too much heat if I can get heat exhaustion just by relaxing in it and UG can be perfectly fine by, y'know, going out in the city and walking around in it.
